An Associate level Engineer is required to be based in Derby and to assist in the development of the rail business unit nationwide. You would report directly to the Associate Director of the business unit and would be responsible for day to day management of the team in Derby, covering the provision of investigation and design services to the rail industry.
As an Associate your duties would include responsibility for technical and commercial management of the programme of works and management of individual client accounts. The individual would be expected to meet clients regularly and ensure that they were provided with a first class service. The candidate will be required to work with other project engineers in the team responsible for individual projects.
The business unit employs staff with significant knowledge of trackbed investigation and design. The candidate will be expected to contribute to, and utilise that pool of knowledge to provide a quality service to the clients.
